Krnica is a small Istrian village located about 25 km east of Pula, surrounded by forests, pastures, and vineyards. In the center of the village stands the parish church of St
Roch, and numerous paths run through the settlement leading toward the sea. The most famous among them is the one that leads to Krnica Harbour, a picturesque small cove about 2.5 km away. This harbour is popular with divers and all lovers of sea activities, as well as visitors seeking a peaceful spot far from the tourist hustle and bustle.
Krnica is an excellent choice for those who want to experience authentic Istrian ambience, enjoy a quiet holiday, spend time in nature, or explore the eastern coast of Istria with its many hidden beaches. The beaches are mostly rocky coves scattered along the Krnica Channel, surrounded by untouched nature and crystal-clear sea. Due to the interesting coastline and seabed, the area is extremely suitable for diving, and Krnica is a frequent starting point for diving excursions.
