Villa Angelika is located in Kastelir, a charming village between the Adriatic coast and the green interior of western Istria. Surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and small local farms, Kastelir offers a more authentic and relaxed side of Istria while still being only a short drive from the sea and the lively coastal towns

In around 15 minutes, guests can reach Porec, one of Istria’s most popular seaside destinations, known for its historic old town, beaches, waterfront promenade and the UNESCO-listed Euphrasian Basilica. The nearby Lanterna Peninsula and the coast around Tar and Novigrad offer numerous beaches, hidden coves and beach bars with beautiful Adriatic views.
Kastelir is especially loved for its excellent local gastronomy and wine tradition. Guests can discover family-run wineries, olive oil producers and traditional konobas serving fuži pasta, truffles, prosciutto and fresh Mediterranean dishes paired with local Malvasia and Teran wines.
The surrounding landscape is ideal for cycling, hiking and exploring inland Istria. Nearby routes, including the famous Parenzana trail, lead through vineyards, forests and scenic viewpoints stretching towards the sea. For day trips, guests can also easily visit Rovinj, Novigrad and the medieval hilltop town of Motovun.
