Villa Silentio is set in Mali Vareški, a small rural village near Marčana in southeastern Istria — an area known for its green peninsulas, quiet coves and authentic Mediterranean scenery. This peaceful location is ideal for guests seeking nature, privacy and an atmosphere untouched by mass tourism, yet close to beaches and cultural attractions

The wider Marčana region invites exploration. Enjoy easy hikes such as the Stjepan Hauser Trail, leading to the panoramic viewpoint of St. Agneze with sweeping vistas over Raša Bay and Kvarner. Nearby villages each offer their own charm: Kavran delights with its beautiful coastal views, Manjadvorci with its rustic ambience, and Prodol with serene oak forests. In Rakalj, visitors can discover traditional Istrian pottery and a small ethnographic collection.
For a day by the sea, Duga Uvala is within a short drive and offers a clear, family-friendly beach.
