Villa The Boat is a stunning modern villa located near Opatija, a favourite destination in Kvarner. Set up on the hills of the small town Matulji, the terraces of this villa offer the most amazing panoramic view of the Kvarner Bay
The rooftop pool of Villa The Boat will truly make you feel like you’re sailing through the bay.
The villa consists of 3 floors. On the ground floor are two double bedrooms, both with their own private bathroom, TV and A/C. On the first floor you’ll find a modern living room connected to a fully equipped kitchen and dining room, as well as a bathroom. The dining table easily converts to a pool table for all guests looking for fun. There is also an extra room for two more children on this floor - available upon request. The imposing wooden stairs lead to a double bedroom on the second floor, also with an en-suite bathroom, TV and A/C. Villa The Boat has a terrace on every floor, perfectly suitable to soak up the sun or admire the starry sky with family and friends. You will be reluctant to leave the rooftop pool which invites you to swim above the clouds of Kvarner Bay.

Villa The Boat is located in the small town of Matulji, a few kilometres north of Opatija. The town is also known as “The Gate of Kvarner” because its railway station was the first sight for many arriving visitors in the past
Matulji today is famous for its tasteful beverage Jarbola and many well preserved traditional recipes and dishes. You’ll find both in the taverns and restaurants in Matulji. For those interested in a more active holiday, the Matulji area offers numerous hiking and biking trails.
A visit to Opatija is a must for all guests. This charming town is considered to be the cradle of tourism in Croatia. The town centre preserves many luxury villas and hotels from the 19th century. We highly recommend a walk along the famous promenade Lungomare that stretches from Volosko to Lovran. It is after all the best way to explore the whole Opatija riviera.
