Icici is a small village spread over hills under the mountain Ucka that separates the regions Istria and Kvarner, overlooking the stunning Kvarner Bay. Icici is located approximately 8 km south from Opatija- the pearl of the Adria, and less then 30 km from Rijeka, Croatia´s 3rd biggest city

This area is famous for its natural advantages and the beneficial climate, which makes it a place where people are coming for the benefits of thalassotherapy, the medical use of sea water and air, as a form of therapy. You will love Ucka with its various hiking trails and breathtaking view from the top of the mountain, from where it´s on a good day possible to see all the way to Venice, as the locals say. Within only 5 km from Icici you will find many beaches to soak up the sun and to relax on. If you like the high season buzz on pebble beaches, don´t miss to visit the beaches of Medveja and Moscenicka Draga. The best way to get to know the area is to walk trough the Lungo Mare, a 12 km long promenade along the sea, that connects Volosko, a charming little fishing village at one side, with Lovran, the closest town to Icici, on the other side. You will love romantic walks in the evening with a view of the picturesque sunset or the morning run right next to the sea.
