Villa Nikolina is a beautiful villa located in the peaceful village of Kaštelir, making it an ideal choice for a relaxing holiday in Istria. At the heart of the outdoor area is a saltwater swimming pool surrounded by palm trees, creating a true Mediterranean atmosphere and inviting you to enjoy a refreshing swim during warm summer days
Next to the pool there are 8 comfortable sun loungers, perfect for sunbathing and relaxation. The carefully landscaped green garden also features a pavilion that provides pleasant shade for resting. Guests can enjoy a barbecue and a fully equipped outdoor kitchen, ideal for preparing delicious meals to be enjoyed in the spacious outdoor dining area with family and friends. The interior of the villa offers a perfect blend of space and comfort. On the ground floor there is an elegant living room with a Smart TV, connected to a dining area and a fully equipped kitchen. On the same floor there is one of the four comfortable bedrooms with a Smart TV and an en-suite bathroom, while the remaining three bedrooms are located on the first floor. One of them also includes a practical walk-in closet. All bedrooms have private bathrooms accessible only from the rooms, each equipped with a hairdryer. This villa is located in the small hilltop village in western Istria, known for its peaceful rural atmosphere and beautiful views over vineyards and even the Adriatic Sea. For our active guests, you can take the Parenzana cycling route, enjoy scenic routes toward the coast or trails through vineyards and olive groves
The area has been inhabited since prehistoric and Roman times. Over centuries the region was shaped by the Roman, Venetian, and later Austro-Hungarian rule. About 13km away, you can visit the historic town of Novigrad. Known for its stone houses, narrow streets, ancient city walls and towers and historic churches like the Church of St. Pelagius and St. Mary’s Church. Here you can take a cullinary journey and enjoy fresh fish and shellfish, truffle-based dishes from inland Istria, and olive oil and wine tastings in nearby farms and restaurants. Just as close by is Porec, which combines medieval charm, adriatic beaches, and a vibrant cultural scene. Its famous Old Town is known for narrow stone streets, charming squares and historic palaces from the Venetian era. Another stunning historical sight in Porec is the Euphrasian Basilica, where you can view its gold mosaics, well-preserved early Christian architecture and a bell tower with panoramic views of the town .
